First Time Visit ?

If it’s your first time getting the eyelash extension then it is very important that you be aware of prepping your eyes and lashes. Below is a list of DOs n DONTs you should know:

DO:

  • Arrive at your appointment a few minutes early for a quick consultation if you have any questions or concerns and there will be paperwork for you to sign. Lash expert will then take a look at your natural lashes and will make the suggestion of which would look the best.
  • Plan your time accordingly as the appointment may take from 1 hour to 2 hours. Best thing is to bring your headphones and listen to music/podcasts to kill the time or you may take a lash nap. We also play nice music to make you relaxed while you’re getting the service.
  • Always ask questions about keeping a good after-care and get more information about your lash health and best products to use for after-care.
  • If you’re really satisfied, do tip your lash stylist as this takes a lot of effort and hardwork with gentle touch to make sure you are getting a luxury experience.

DON’T:

  • If you wear contact lenses, take them off before the service.
  • Avoid taking bathroom breaks while you are doing your lashes so avoid drinking liquid beverages like coffee, water, juice etc before your appointment
  • Do not wear mascara or make-up as it needs to be removed. It’s better to come clean and fresh.

After Care

The first twenty-four hours are critical. Ensure your lashes are completely dry for the first 24 hours, with no water, sweat (no strenuous exercise), steam, or sauna.

Keep your hands to yourself! It’s best not to massage your eyes too much because this might cause the curl to change. Brush your lashes with a clean sponge regularly to keep them fluffy, divided, and tangle-free.

Eye makeup and mascara are OK, but waterproof versions should be avoided. While mascara isn’t required to boost your eyelashes, water-based mascaras are the most excellent choice. Water-resistant eye makeup might leave a residue making eyelashes fall off quickly. Only use makeup removers and cleansers that are oil-free. Finally, maintain the health of your lashes. Keep your lashes moisturized by nourishing them 2 to 3 times a week. Castor oil is suggested for maintaining hair strength.

EXTRA CARE TIPS

You may have been a little too rough on your eyelashes in the past, whether sleeping in your mascara or overusing the falsies. Not to worry!

Here are a few best practices that can help you maintain good eyelash health:

  • Use an eyelash comb.
  • Moisturize your lashes.
  • Invest in an eyelash serum.
  • Take breaks with makeup and false lashes.
  • Remove your makeup and false eyelashes properly.
  • Eat a nutritious diet.
  • Comb, moisturize, and hydrate your hair.
  • Using an eyelash comb daily will aid in the removal of dirt and debris from the lashes, allowing the follicles to remain precise.
  • To maintain your lashes supple and malleable, moisturize them with Vitamin E, castor, or almond oil.
  • Using eyelash serums regularly will help feed and strengthen the lashes, allowing them to develop. You have lash extensions; you may even use the serum on top of them to reduce the danger of any potential harm.
  • To get the most significant effects, use the serum under your makeup.

EYE GLAMOUR RIGHT AFTER EYELASH EXTENTIONS/LIFT

  • No mascara – if you must wear mascara, make sure it is water-soluble.
  • Use of oil-based products near the eyes is not recommended.
  • Within 24 hours after the eyelash extension operation, no water or oil should come into touch with the eye region.
  • After the eyelash extension, do not use a sauna or hot tub for 48 hours. There will be no usage of eyelash curlers.
  • While using eyelash extensions, natural lashes should not be tinted or permed.
  • There should be no tugging, rubbing, or pulling on the eyelash extensions.
  • When blow-drying your hair, use caution (extensive heat on lashes could distort the shape of the extensions)
  • During the first 24 hours following the application, it is usual for the customer to lose a few lashes.
